Built by Valley Motorsport in recent years to current period E FIA’s specification, the car has only competed in three races since the build was complete. The first of these three races was at the Castle Combe Autumn Classic, 5th October 2019 where it finished 1st overall in the Norman Dewis Trophy for pre-'66 Jaguars, driven by the world-renowned historic racer Alex Buncombe. The car’s next outing was at the 60th Anniversary E-Type Challenge Race at the 2021 Silverstone Classic where the car finished 1st in Class driven again by Alex Buncombe. The car’s third outing was the Goodwood Revival's Stirling Moss Trophy, where it was driven by none other than the 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and co-driven by Alex. A delay in qualifying resulted in a P19 grid position and therefore denied them the result they and the car deserved, however they finished the race in P7, the 3rd Jaguar E-Type to take the flag.
The car has now undergone its post-race inspection and is ready for somebody else to enjoy across the UK and Europe at the world's greatest events!
The car is complete with current FIA HTP papers, the Jaguar Heritage Certificate and many bills and receipts from the work carried out.
