Light Car Company ROCKET
Gordon Murray designed - 1 of 46 built
Built by Chris Crafts Light Car Company, the Rocket was penned by the great Gordon Murray – the father of such automotive icons as the McLaren F1, the extraordinary Brabham 'fan car' and multiple Grand Prix world championship-winning machines for Brabham and McLaren. One of the lightest road cars ever conceived, the diminutive Rocket weighs in at under 400kg, is powered by a mid-mounted one-litre Yamaha motorcycle engine, seats two occupants in tandem and, with around 380bhp/ton on tap, provides a ride to stir the heart of any enthusiast. This stunning example is one of only 46 produced and has covered just 11,000 miles from new. Rarer than a McLaren F1.
